Shade – Thirty Poems in Thirty Days #24

If you’d like to read more of my work, check out my poetry ebook here on amazon.

Drive shivers and fears
Along the withering plain

I sit in the shade
Of this crumbling elder
As he sighs heavily

Longing for the warm touch
Of the now icy sun
