The Bell Tower’s Call – Thirty Poems in Thirty Days #19

If you’d like to read more of my work, check out my poetry ebook here on amazon.

The Bell Tower’s Call

A depressed moon
Wanes in the twilight

Rain drops fall on my head
I run desperately

Searching for what I’ve lost
What I didn’t know I’d ever found

A raven’s call echos from beyond the grave
Reminding me of my past mistakes

So I run through the shadowy alleyways
As midnight strikes

I hear the bell tower’s call
